ID Portrait

06.10.09

The Blagdon Estate is owned by the Ridley family and not open to the public. The Estate management needed some corporate ID cards designed and commercial portraits taken of the staff and subcontractor but also visitors could be given an ID, given the importance of the security with in the grounds.

With not been a graphic designer I consulted a great designer that I have done other commercial photography projects with for advice on the design style. The Style had to incorporate current branding whist keeping a professional look and way of preventing cards to be copied easily this including the portrait photography.

The brief for the portrait photographer was that the photographs should be technically difficult to reproduce for the average person and have a distinct style but easy to identify the person. The Photography would be shot always by same photographer and cropped, lighting, and developed and finished using the same process to give consistency.
