Cosy Cottage

Commercial Architecture Photography is one of the main genres of photography my business has expertise with, helping property developers bring out the best aspects of their buildings, including the interior design aspects.

An enquiry from an entrepreneur who owns a hotel chain, holiday cottages & care homes across the north east and UK contacted me with an urgent request to shoot Architecture photography of the cottages he owns.

The urgency stemmed from the fact he was losing client enquiries every day with his current images not clearly representing how beautiful the location was for your holiday.

Commercial Photographers when shooting Architecture generally are shooting in fair weather, but in this case it was the middle of winter and snow blizzards upon the hour and the shoot was during the Christmas period.

The conditions led to a 3-4 day shoot to get the shots, waiting for the sun to strike the building in right place and waiting for a pause in the snow to take cosy night time shots, not to mention how many times we dug the car out of the snow.

All worth it! Since booking a professional photographer and re-freshing the  Architectural photography the client has said “that he is thrilled and has nearly filled vacancies for summer and has even taken bookings for winter” which is normally closed due to lack of bookings.
